What are my options for lenses?
There are many eyeglass lens options available. Our team will take your lifestyle and vision correction needs into consideration when helping you select the right lenses for your eyes.
Here are some of the lens products and solutions we offer:
- Progressive Multifocal Lenses – These lenses provide seamless, line-free correction at distance, intermediate, and near ranges all in one lens to help you see more throughout than just single vision lenses. There are many options when it comes to progressive lenses. Your optician will guide you in selecting which lens technology is the best fit for you.
- Anti-Glare Lenses – The more light, the sharper your vision. Anti-glare (or anti-reflective) coatings minimize reflections on both the front and back surfaces of your lenses, allowing more light to pass through to your eyes. This enhances visual clarity, reduces eye strain, improves night driving visibility, and gives your lenses a cleaner, more polished look. Plus, anti-glare coatings offer added durability and scratch resistance for everyday protection.
- Photochromic Lenses – These are made of a light-dynamic material that reacts to UV light and automatically adjusts to the level of surrounding light. While not a replacement for sunglasses, this is a great option for those finding themselves in and out of varying light conditions throughout the day.
- Blue Light Lenses – While we need a certain amount of blue light to regulate our sleep-wake cycle, too much exposure can be harmful and interrupt our sleep. These lenses are designed to protect our eyes from excessive blue light exposure from digital devices.
- Polarized Lenses – Polarized lenses are designed to filter and reduce glare, increase visual clarity, and enhance contrast. They are a popular choice for those seeking the most effective and best-performing sunwear they can get, especially in activities like driving, boating, fishing, or skiing.
- Impact Resistant Lenses – There are a variety of lens materials to choose from these days. Polycarbonate or Trivex lenses generally work best for people and offer impact resistance, as well as being thinner and lighter weight than standard plastic lenses.
- High-Index Lenses – We also offer a variety of high-index lens materials to meet the needs of those with a higher prescription wanting the thinnest lenses possible.
